Registered Manager – Children's Home (Permanent)

 

Location: New Forest, Hampshire (Sway and Lymington area)

Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

 

Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Solent Child Care to recruit a Registered Manager for their children's home in the New Forest.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

Hold registration with Ofsted and take overall responsibility for the home's care, compliance, and quality standards.

Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, building a stable and child-centred culture.

Ensure care planning, risk management, and safeguarding practice meet the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Manage admissions, matching, and transitions so that placements are right for the children.

Work closely with placing authorities, schools, health partners, and families.

Drive continuous improvement in preparation for Ofsted inspection.

 

About You

You will be an experienced residential childcare leader with:

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete it.

At least two years in residential childcare within the last five years.

At least one year in a supervisory or management role within a children's home.

The ability to register with Ofsted as Registered Manager.
